I know it's a FF vs a MR. They both cost around the same. The mr-2 probably has better aftermarket and can handle a lot more hp on the bottom end. But which car would be more fun on the backroads?

We didnt get anything badged SLC here in the UK so i dont know anything about that particular model, but i do know the Corrado VR6 handles very well for a FWD. However, for sheer driver enjoyment i'd always go RWD , especially i was going to tune the car.

I cannot describe the incredible pleasure of driving an MR2, although I've never been in or seen a Corrado SLC

your kidding me right? i know a guy with a super charged Corrado. the car doesn't even have a freaking cross flow head. the intake and exhuast ports are on the same side of the motor!!! what da hell kind of old tech engineering is that. oh wellz. he has a built motor with raised boost, and he can only manage a high 14. a stock MR2 can take him out. also not to mention that the older and new volkswagens are notorious for having electrical problems. while a MR2 is built like a toyota. yes the Corrado is a damn cool looking VW. but compare to a MR2 it looks bland. i would get a MR2. for J D Powers rating, the car for long term reliabilty got a
5 out of 5 for mechanical
5 out of 5 for interior
4 out of 5 for body
the car is freaking built like a tank. the chassis is extremely rigid. i was seriously consider buying one when i thought my S14 was stolen.
