Head Unit ???

Right guys and girls,my car is an Import VR4, meaning, when i turn ON my head unit, i can't get any english stations. Japan is on a differnt wave length...!
Do i...

1/ change it for an english one and have something like a graphic equelizer below it

OR...

2/ keep the wide screen one and add something to it to make it possible to recieve those stations?

The stock, is such a sweet unit but i will need something to power a Sub from Pre Outs.
Got a CD changer rigged up, just no Radio stations.
Anybody.....?

jay you have to have the head unit recalibrated to our radio waves, jap fm is a different range to ours,
any decent radio shop can do that for you for not a lot of money

Serious? that sounds wicked. you done it then? Does it knock the quality of the sound though?

yes got it done on my stock head unit but since changed it, you wont get all uk stations but if suffices... it doesnt affect sound quality either.
