Yea, I think he's talking about the valve cover gasket. From what I can tell, it is not a hard replacement. I will need to do this to my own car when I get home, so if anyone wants to spell out the process for us, feel free :iceslolan!

The VFAQ link is down, so I guess I have to resort to a DSM Talk link.

http://www.dsmtalk.com/showarticle.php?s=&threadid=90462

No need to put RTV on the v/c itself as he does in Picture 8. The only place I use RTV is on both sides of the half moon.
Also I highly recommend an OE gasket.

Quick question... Can RTV be used on exhaust gaskets?

No, and why?

Well the exhaust gasket for my header is split, its not that big, but the split is causing the gasket to come apart in two. (kind of like a 2-ply) It seems like it would still work, since it would be pushed together between the header.
Sorry if the description sucks. But I know I can buy a new one, but I dont want to. And the guy said he would send me another one but I have not recieved it yet.
O well I will probally just install it and see what happens.

www.VFAQ.com is the site to go to for how-to's on modifications and repairs.
