header install

i called the shop today for an estimate on header installation on my 00' 5.3, they said it will take 5-6 hours and cost 250$ to install. that seems hight to me and it doesnt look like it should take that long. Has anyone out there installed the headers themselves, if so how long did it take and what ones did you use. thanks for the help
