Have another question.

How do I hook up a 12 volt test light to my diagnostic plug on an 87 T-bird, 3.8 liter. It is not show this in any of the Chilton manals.

I think the Mitchell manual gives directions on how to hook up an analog multimeter and a jumper wire. It's been 15+ years since I've done it and can't remember for sure. You'll a jumper wire as well.
