does anyone know how to put these windows back on track? they go up on a slant and you have to help it along because it keeps going off track. Any help with this issue is appreciated. It seems to be a common problem on these 2 doors. thanks

Your problem probably lies in your window regulator. Mine was doing the same thing and a new regulator fixed the problem.

Its a pretty easy job, just time consuming. You need to take off the dorr panel (be careful not to break any of the clips) then drill ou the rivets holding the regulator assembly to the door (you only have a few holes to work through) then install the new assembly and either rivet or bolt it in place.

Like I said, its a fairly easy job, just give yourself around 2 hours the first time you do it.
good luck

My window was coming off track also,(not powered) and I thought I determined the problem was a faulty regualtor. So I replaced it with a functional one but it still is coming off track. Now I think it might be either one of the tracks causing the window to slant foward. Any suggestions.

Check the rubber moulding from where it starts inside the door all the way to the top. Make sure its not interfering with the window. I almost cried when I put the new regulator in mine and it still tipped forward! All it was though was a piece of rubber moulding at the back of the door just where the glass come up out of the door. Every time the glass would start up into the track it would get pushed out. Fixed the rubber and all went well.
