I miss my car =(

Ive been driving my car for a month now until like tuesday. My drivers side axle has been flinging grease all over my oil pan and some other parts and my steering wheel shakes. But then tuesday it started pulling violently to the left... Ive never done anything this major to a car. What a pain in the ass time for something to happen. Just started my new job and Im driving my dads car again. But is an axle job on our cars hard? And how many splines (i think it said) are on my transmission? I have the stock dx tranny. Thanks.

its an easy replacment. pop in popo out in under 30 min. as far as what axle, ir u still have stock hubs order them for your car. all 88-00 d series trannys have the same side gear spline count in the diff.

its not to hard. i just did mine with my dad a while back. u could order one from autozone or any auto parts store.

It's an easy job to do as long as you've got the right tools...

Just don't even think about starting without having a puller small shaft out that the castle nut screws on to.... I had to rent an 8 ton puller to get mine off.
Other than that, everything's pretty straight forward.

thanks guys. My dad said hes going to pull my car into the garage when i leave for school on thursday and get ym car all taken apart and go get tools if he doesnt have the right ones. Then when i get out of school im gonna go cash my paycheck and go get my axle. Well have it all put together pretty quickly. If my dad cant help me with it, then my friend john said to bring ym car over his house and hed do it all for me (hes done engine swaps and everything for our friends).
