I have replaced many engines, but this is a first. We are gonna start tomorrow. Anyone here ever replaced a 2.3L Quad 4 in a 95 Grand Am.?
If so, what was the time frame and did the engine come out of the top, or did you have to drop the front suspention? We are doing an identical replacement with a low milage engine. The block is cracked due to some idiot replacing the head gasket with the incorrect one for this car. Thanks for any heads up on this one. From what I understand, they built this car around the engine...lol...

>>>not easy, but the engine should come out the top with the transmission disconnected. Watch when installing new motor as fittings tend to go bad on that car. I have one and plan to do the same within 6 months
