I am getting a hesitation or stuttering in acceleration when I try to do an idle speed of 60 or above. I am getting a multiple/random cylinder misfire when I check the computer. It runs fine at lower speeds or city driving. I have changed out the plugs, wires, cap, fuel pump, and even checked the egr valve with no luck. I like my truck and would have to hate to sell it.

theres a big chance the injectors in the SCPI(spider) are sticking. if you get a shop to clean the injectors it might fix the problem deposits build up on the popets in the injectors. good luck!!

Same thing happened on my 96 Silverado. It turned out to be my fuel regulator on the motor. Had to take it to a shop to find it. Cost me $400 to get it fixed.

I just took it into the shop for them to check. I hope it's something simple. I will let everybody know then they call me back with the problem. Thanks for the help.

could be ditributor gear wear or your base timing being off too

I would like to thank everybody for the help. The shop said one of the teeth was off on the timming and the cam sensor and to be reset. Total for all the labor was $195. I took them a day and half to just to trace it down.
