Sound system, need help!

I need help figuring out what I need to replace the stock am/fm/cassett in my 85 thunderbird with a nice am/fm/cd player including all speekers and any other equipment I may need including the type of wire and what speakers you would recommend.

The car is set up for a six speeker system now, but the door speekers are not installed and the other four are the factory ones and are, shall we say sh@%!

And if someone could let me know where I can get a wiring diagram that woudl be great too.

i don't know if you are gonna be able to hook your thing up to teh car because me and a couple other people have had a problem putting in a new stereo into the car because it no sound comes up when you hook it all up. If you can come up with something that gets it to work let me know cuz I could use the info too sorry tho I dunno how we can get the things to work...

You just need to buy a wiring harness from your local audio shop. Just tell them what year and make your car is.
