Yo curious what you guys thought about mugen headers for 98 SH. THey are an assload more money, nearly a grand. Are they worth the huge price, probably not but im just curious what the deal was. Do people get them for bragging rights or for the actual performance gains. Thanks-SLolude

bragging rights... 5th gens have very good factory headers, so there isn't a great gain from any other types.

The standard factory header in Preludes are nearly exactly the same as the DC Sports headers; this is why I don't recommend people buying brand name and getting a generic ceramic header. You only want DC Sports for its ceramic properties.
However, Mugen 4-1 headers are VERY nice. The have a different design from the 4-2-1 DC or stock headers. 4-1 headers trade off lower end torque for higher end power, with good results. If they were about half the price, they are incredibly worth it. When you're at higher level NA though, the Mugen 4-1 is one of the few options you have.
