1992 cherokee wont stay running

I have a 1992 jeep cherokee that has run fine for awhile. I have noticed lately that the engine sounded loud and now when I start the car it will run for a few minutes then quit It will not restart right away but 30 minutes or so it will start agin only to quit again

HI, WHEN IT QUITS HAVE YOU CHECKED TO SEE IF YOU ARE GETTING SPARK & GAS. IF YOU EMAIL ME AT [email protected]'LL SEND YOU A SHEET ON RETERIVEINGTHE TROUBLE CODES & WHAT THE CODES ARE. WHEN YOU START IT DOES IT IDLE SMOOTHLY OR ROUGH.
