seatbelt beeper

you know how if you unbuckle your seat belt early in a CRX the seatbelt beeper beeps for a few times, well whenever my car is on my beeper has been constantly on for the past two days! when it beeps the passenger seatbelt light blinks with the beep, so it has to be the passenger seatbelt. i unplugged the wires underneath the seat that connects the seatbelt to the power source, but it still beeps!!! i tried shorting the wires, i tried unplugging the battery, and nothing seems to work! this is really annoying and i don't want to spend a heap of money to go to a dealer. does anyone know how to fix this problem or even had this happen to you??

wow... i just read that and when they were saying dont clip the wires cuz it wont work... well i did that, when i put my harnesses in, i took the driverside seatbelt and unbolted it, opened the back and ripped the wires off causing the circuit board inside to snap in half. thing never beeps. only time it does it is when i have the key in the acc position and have a door open. then it goes off when i shut the door

i snipped the wires going to the beeper, it's up by the passenger mirror :)
