[Just an opinion]
If you are considering high horsepower earnings, of course there are many different paths you can take, the most popular being turbocharging--especially since you have an SR20. However here is the path you SHOULDN'T take (trust me I know from experience): If you are going to add a turbine, do not buy cheap bolt-ons just because its easily available in the aftermarket! This includes intake-plumbing, exhaust systems, ECU, etc. Why? Because it is all going to be trash with the addition of the turbosystem. Just from my own knowledge, every person who I know has an added turbo on their originally non-turbo engine, has wasted approximately $700 on bolt-on parts which became unnecessary after turbocharging. That's about 1/4 of the cost of a turbo already! People should plan out their car's future carefully before spending money... auto-parts hurt the wallet.

That's the thing,
I doubt I will ever turbo charge or anything that drastic. The most I would ever do is Cams, but I doubt I'll even do that. Headers are a very good possibility.
