my friend has a 200 gr-r integra and for some reason the dealership he baught it from wants it back... they said it was worth alot more then they sold it to him for

I just bought a 93 GS, but I don't know if its a GS-R. On the back it says Type- R, but I don't know. I was looking to see if the engine said 1.7 litter because the GSR is 1.7 instead of 1.8. Anyone know how to know for sure?

ok well the dealers just got ripped on that deal..they cant have the car back, especially if he has the title... as for Daerox's ?...as seeing there wasnt a Type -R in 93, it cant possibly be that... open your hood and look at the engine code, if it says B17 then its a GSR motor, if it says B18A its an LS, GS motor, if it says B18 anything its a 94+ motor

Think you got your years wrong. According to Kelly Blue Book the 93 GS-r has 160 HP while the reg GS 140. but Ill look at the codes

All Integras have honda motors. If your car has vtec, than it is a GSR.Which you can check by opening the hood. Also, your redline will be over 8000 rpm.

and if you have a 99 GS, then you have a GS if your red line is over 8K then you have a GSR
