spout circuit

Recently had the "check engine" light come on. Code reader says "SPOUT circuit open" and " hard fault present ". Could someone please explain what the spout circuit is and suggest some solutions.

spark output. it's usually a yellow wire that comes out of the distributor if you follow the it there will be a quick-connector. sometimes it's a 2 wire connector. the computer uses this wire to control ignition timing. it's possible your's came unplugged or the wire is broken somewhere.
