I've searched my ass off and can't find a 3" greddy evo2 exhaust for a gst. I was originally going to go with the Apex N1 cause thats what I had on my gs and liked it a lot. But I just put the greddy on my friends 02 eclipse GT and it sounds so nice! his car sounds like a friggin porsche now. I was hoping somebody could help me out. any ideas where I can get one? or should I just go with the apex?

To add on to your forum...is Apex'i N1 stainless steel?I looked at RRE's long downpipe and hook it up with Apex'i N1 cat-back exhaust. But i also want full Stainless steel from the turbo back.I'm almost forsure that the Greddy Evo2 exhaust is SS from the cat back.I was also think about getting that system yesterday. But i dont want to have to weld or anything to make it fit the RRE downpipe. So would the RRE downpipe bolt on to the Evo2?Or would i have to do a little work to make it fit?

Well buddy...i just went to greddy.com and looked under they're exhaust systems and it says the make them for 95-99 Eclipse GS/RS and 02-04 Eclipse GT V6.That may be the reason why we cant find it for GST/GSX's.

yea... I did the same. I thought somebody might know somethin I didn't. Thanks for the help. And to answer your question the N! is made from ts404 aluminum I believe. Same stuff they make airplanes out of. It's nice and strong but still very light. The rre DP's are 3" and will bolt to the evo to with an adapter.. but you don't want to go down in size. The apex N1's will bolt directly to the RRE dp's. If you plan on goin with them, which I now probably will be doing, I would say go with the N1. I've decided to do it. I'll let you know how it works out.

i know for sure greddy makes a 3in exhaust in an evo because i have one. if you dont beleive me il send a pic to you. just look a little harder, youll find one. also youll have to modify the RRE DP to fit to the evo o2, not hard, the bolt holes have to be moved outward just a little. Nothin a drill cant do.

It could be the evo, not the evo2.
Also they just started to make the evo2's so they still are making them. Try to e-mail them to see when they are planning to come out with it.

yea I will probably be ordering the RRE short DP and a highflow, with the apex N1 cat back. We have smog here so I can't go with the straight pipe or I'd do that. I'm not sure how long it's going to take me to get my car back, but I'll let you know once I get everything bolted up and runnin right.

yea if I went with the deal that ashah found I would have saved like 75 bucks. which may not seem like too much. but it is still a good hunk of change to me! I ordered it for 500 dollars shipped. and I'm going to order the apex downpipe either tomorrow or later tonight. the RRE ones are more expensive. and I decided to say the hell with smog. I'll save my stock exhaust and bolt that up when it come to inspection time.

Try to cancel the order, if you ordered it on Saturday it still may be possible. I guess its worth a try. Your choice though :)
