I purchased a 2000 F150-XLT with the power window and door options and both power windows don't work. The door locks are OK. I tested the fuse for the windows with an Ohmmeter and it's OK. Is there a relay which is common to both windows? Could there be anything else that could be wrong? The truck was never used for heavy work or involved in an accident, so I doubt that the wiring is bad.

I have a '92 F150-XLT and have had both windows stop working, but not at the same time. I had to replace the motor on the passenger window, and on the driver side - the arm just got stuck really bad. When my passenger window went out and I tried to open it nothing at all would happen. When the driver window got stuck shut and I tried to open it, the battery gauge indicated a load when I pushed the button.
If the windows just are stuck, I found just by unbolting the motor and putting it back on after running the window up and down a couple times, and greasing everything well, worked.
In any case it is not hard to take off the panel and un-screw the motors. There may not be holes to do this, however. I had to drill holes in the driver side to get to the screws. It was easy to know where to drill because there are dimples where you need to drill. Luckily a friend pointed this out or I would have not known how to get the motor out of the door.
