broken hood release cable

How do I get hood open?

if cable broke at release handle use pliers.
If broke at hood latch use long screwdriver.

look at the release mechanism on someone elses truck first it you have to use the screwdriver method. you might have to lay on the ground and reach up from underneith to pop it.
