with a good driver you can hit anywhere from 14.9 to 15.1

average driver: 15.2-15.4

Depends on the weather, elevation, tires, state of the engine...

Almost perfect conditions, cold, sea level, with basic weight reduction SIGNAL is right, 15.0-1.4 range

Guys, how about an H22a Vtec 200HP engine swapped into a 94 accord 2 dr?

I don't know about gearing on an Accord, but structurally the two cars look pretty much the same. So I venture it's pretty close around there.

The Si is in the upper 15's.
JDM VTEC's are capable of consistent 15's.

Structurally, yes they are pretty much the same... What about weight-wise??

Wait a minute.. are you serious about that?? My original single head vtec in my car right now ran it's best @ 15.8 secs at the current moment. At the tracks last season that is. All I have are the usual bolt on's... (Ex: H/E/I, SCI MSD w/ External Coil Blaster, and a cheap supposedly MUGEN chip off ebay which engages my VTEC @ 2500 RPM and readline at peak of 8k RPM)

I'm sure the gearing on the Accord has more to do with it than the speed. And premature VTEC enagagement is BAD. You need to get rid of it. You will lose alot of power if it engages earlier than it's supposed to.

Engines lose power naturally as they age, so realistically a JDM h22a in its 50k's will do around 15.3.
