ok so heres my story. last few years i piled up a bunch of speeding tickets that i never paid. as you can guess they suspended my liscense for never paying them.so i payed most of them off(7 out of 11). now i went to court and talked to the judge about my last tickets that include 2 driving while suspended. he said that it will cost me 300 each ticket. then 400 for one jail bond and another 520 for another jail bond.i can understand these ticket fees, but what is with the bond fees i have to pay? where did they come and is there away to get out of them. i went to the dmv and they said after i paid these last tickets i could get my liscence back. the problem with that is i don have 1500 dollars lying around.grr any advice would be appreciated. ecspecially about those bond things. :banghead:

You may not like my advice but I'm gonna give it to you anyways. I don't feel sorry for you. Not paying tickets just because is stupid. And driving with your license suspended is even dumber. Should have learned your lesson to not speed after you got pulled over the first time. 11 tickets in one year is horrible. So please do us all a favor and stay off the roads to keep the rest of us safe.

If you don't want problems, pay your tickets. If you don't want tickets, don't speed.
Should I draw you a picture?

11 tickets in one year!! Holy Moly, thats just stupid. You must be lucky in whatever state your in, because where I live if we get three speeding tickets, we get our license suspended. And you dont have the option of paying to get it back. You have to do all kinds of stuff and be on probation. Just stop speeding and my advice to you, dont drive, have your mom drive you.

I think the bonds have to be paid to keep your sorry ass out of jail. A friend of mine did pretty much the same thing. He drove with many unpaid tickets, got his license revoked, had to pay close to 15,000 dollars in fines(Ontario, Canada), and still ended up in jail. He's due to be out in 2 months. He still hasn't learned his lesson, they won't give him his license back, and he plans to keep driving anyways.
Do yourself a favour- Pay your fines, pay the bonds, and SLOW THE FUCK DOWN!!
I don't feel sorry for him, and I don't feel sorry for you either.

Driving is a privilege, not a right.
If these speeding tickets were given to you while you were driving a Honda, then get a real car, then you can boast of getting speeding tickets! (Just kidding, lighten up...but really)

oh and i dont drive anymore. i havent driven since october. i was looking at my tickets and only 3 in 3 years were speeding. so to all of you who are telling me to slow the fuck down this is for you :thefinger the other tickets where for failure to yield at a right turn on a red, headlight out twice in two different parts of the year. ran into a roadblock and didnt have my insurance with me,(cleared that up but still a ticket) same with registration.and then i just never went to pay them so i got my license suspended. after that i got pulled over for no brake lights and i got a ticket for driving on a suspended. then i was driving home and cop was behind me in a stoplight and noticed my sticker had expired pulled me over and i got two more one for suspended then one for no insurance.
anyway thats the story. oh and thanks burnM for the help on the bond things. is there a way i can fight these bond things or do i just have to pay them. i dont even understand why they were issued in the first place.

I have been driving for 16 years. In that time I have gotten one speeding ticket. ONE.
If you get a ticket, especially 11 tickets, for ANY reason, its time to put down you keys and re-evaluate what you are doing behind the wheel of a car.
Paying them isn't always enough. When you accrue more tickets than years behind the wheel, then you are doing something terribly wrong. Or, maybe you shouldn't drive.
Oh, If you can't pay for registration, or insurance, WTF are you doing buying gas for a car? After you got your license suspended why did you drive home? Last thing I want is an uninsured, unregistered, unlicensed, speeding moron with no brake lights to hit me.
Take the bus. Please.

Those are still stupid reasons to get 11 tickets.
Hopefully you have learned your lesson.
If it's any help my husband had a problem with some tickets piled up (inc. driving on a suspended license) that he hadn't taken care of b/c they had all gone to court dates and he had been kicked out of the state and so the tickets turned into warrants.
After running from his mess for about 3 years, he realized he had to grow up and take care of it. He made some phone calls to Colorado and his mom called around there also, explained the situation and how he hadn't been in trouble with anything for 3 years and wanted to clean up this old mess so he could be a responsible adult. The people in Colorado were all for this idea. Most of the warrants got dropped and as I remember he only had to pay the original ticket amounts. So maybe you can try something like that.
I seriously hope you have grown up though. If you're getting two tickets for "headlight out" it's either because
A. you're a dumbass who never fixed his headlight after several warnings...
or
B. you're a jackass who's an asshole to the cops.
I mean, come on, they almost never write a ticket for that!!
Hopefully you have learned your lesson.

Oh, I don't know about that. I once got a "fix it" ticket for dirty tail lights by the Highway Patrol. I offered to wipe them off right there on the spot, but the officer wrote the ticket anyway and said another officer had to clear the ticket! BS IMHO :screwy:

Sure you can run into a mean cop once, I won't argue...

boingo and matada are both right. and i totally agree. that is why i sold my car so i could pay off some bills and save up a bit. i also am trying to "grow up". the cops around here are assholes by the way. all three times i never knew about my headlight or brakelight. never warned just slapped with a ticket. i believe i am no where near being a jackass to anyone.oh and i had insurance and registration just not in the car at the time of being pulled over.thank you boingo for the reply about your husband that was pretty close for what i was looking for.any OTHER HELPFUl advice would be aprreciated if anyone has some.

dave, funny ass picture, but way too much time on your hands.
11 tickets? get the fuck out of your car, and stop driving before you kill someone. you think you'd LEARN after 1 or 2, but 11? i'm sorry, but no sympathy from me.
