Silverado Sucked

Well today I got my new truck 2004 DODGE ram 1500 rumble bee HEMI 4X4. BYE BYE 2000 silverado piston slapping 4.8 piece of CRAP. the code 1870 was the last draw. Sorry for the rant 47 year GM man gone MOPAR and proud of it :banghead: :banghead:

don't blame you. hope gm gets the message and fixes that piston slap for 2004. any 2004's got slap yet??

What exactly is piston slap? I have a 2003 1500HD with a 6.0. Something I should look into??

rattling sound at idle...sounds like a diesel idling. juma

Good luck on your purchase, when the door handles come loose, dash rattles start and the transmission go out all before 15000 miles. keep on making them slamming comments on the bow tie!
