New to forum here. I've been a car guy all my life but haven't owned a camaro or even a Chevy for years.
Had a '69 Z-28 that I got new when I returned from S.E. Asia back in the day. Since then I've had Chevells, Olds 442's but for the past 20+ years I've been drag racing with Mopars. It sort of looks for several reasons that I'll not be doing that at least for awhile.
I've worked in chassis and engine shops at differant times over the years and I've done lots of tin work on buildings, otherwise known as HVAC.
I'm also one who sees cars as cars and it really don't matter much if it's a Ford, Chevy, Olds, Mopar or what ever.

I haven't really 'retired', I still have unfinished car, trailer, equipment and stuff.
I stopped for awhile due to divorce, moving, employment status.
I even still have my air density computer....

what is air density computer?
Air Density Computer is a small, hand held device that will note changes in weather and is also able to store data from earlier runs.
Used properly, you will never miss getting the car dailed in at the proper E.T. round after round. The thing will be right to the .001! Dunno what part of the world you are in but in the high desert we have out here things change minute by minute so I like to put the last digit on the dail-in in the front of the staging lanes.
Mine was sold by TAG and they can be had at Summit or any of the mail order places. They cost about $500-550 with the software to be able to load all the data into your PC.
You are keeping complete records of each of your passes aren't you?

Well with one of those things you can get the dail-in perfect and then screw the round all by yourself by 'bulbing or being late but at least you don't have to explain how it is that you ran under, LOL
Really, one of these things is just as effective on a stock '98 V-6 as it was on my former ride of 20+ Years that could run high 10's @ sea level with a surprisingly stock 440 in a '70 Challenger....
