1992 corvette ignition switch

When I turn the key on i get no power or no lights on dash and car won't start. the battery is good and the headlights are working. when I first got in the car it started with hesitation after key was engaged. the next time i tried to start car i could turn key and no power no nothing.
I was having trouble with the ignition keyswitch hanging up but now the key turns with no problem. Is there any way to start car to get it home ?
I'm presently offshore and due to return to the dock for crew change to be stranded away from my home town with a lack of tools.
Any ideas ?

I can't remember when the C-4s went LT1, it was for 92, right?
Is it automatic, or stick shift?
