FEAR NOT! I can help! Also check out www.tamiyausa.com ;)

These are TC's (touring cars)

Here are some definitions of the cars
SW = short wide
S = short
Entry-Level= Like the name suggests. This is to get you started in the hobby.
Sport= Next step up. Can be modified to a certain degree. With mild upgrades it can be raced.
Competition= Race-able out of the box. Usually no hop-ups needed, but they can be added for even more preformance.
Pro-Competition= The uber model. Strap your selves in, boys. :D

TA01: Sport. The ORIGINAL tourcing car that started it all. Not made anymore. AWD, shaft transfer, motor in front of rear axle.

TA02: Sport. Second generation TC. Revised steering (I think) and other minor improvements over the TA01. Chassis is also used for buggies and trucks. AWD, shaft transfer, motor in front of rear axle. "SW" model also.

TL01: Entry level TC. AWD, Shaft Transfer, motor in front of rear axel. Crappy shocks. :D

TA03F/TA03R: Sport. 3rd generation TC. AWD, single belt, motor in front of forward axle "F" model, motor in front of rear axle "R" model. "S" model also. Some competition models were built under the name of David Jun edition and TRF.

TA04: 4th generation TC. AWD, double belt, motor in front of rear axle. *This car is pretty much like every other TC. It's not unique like most Tamiyas. Competition.

414: Creme de la creme! Similar to TA04, but released earlier. Very rare. Aluminum, titanium, graphite et cetera everywhere. Extreme racing machine. Pro-Competition.

TB01: Sport/competion: Latest model. A super duper edition is offered (Pro-competition). Motor in front of rear axle, parallel to central drive shaft. AWD. Also offered in "rally" modes.

Clod Buster= VERY OLD monster truck, but still around! Plastic box. ;)Twin motors, twin solid axles. Crappy shocks, big fluffy tires! FUN! Rediculous amount of after market support (not so much any more). AWD, AWS.

Juggernaut 2: Monster truck. (Jug1 was taken off the market due to poor drive train. Will most likely be worth A LOT of money in a few years.) Aluminum ladder chassis. Central motors and tranny. Telescoping drive shafts send power to twin solid axles. Massive tires. STIFF suspension. AWD, AWS. VERY detailed body.

TXT-1: Latest monster. Similar to Juggernaut2 in drive train, but much better chassis and superior suspension. Slow out of the box, but can do some SERIOUS climbing and offroading. AWD, AWS optional.

Hope this helps for now! :)
