1999 M3 vs 2001 330 CiC

Hi,
I'm new to the forum and was hoping I might get some BMW-heads to help me with a dilemna I'm having (I think my instincts are correct on it but want to see what those in the know think). I have a choice between either a 99 M3 with 29k miles, cpo or a fully loaded 2001 330 CiC with a hardtop that has 22k miles, also CPO (priced about $5500 more than the M3). If anyone has an opinion on reliability/fun etc I would appreciate hearing their opinion.
