where do i start

i have a 93 escort lx waagon, i wana start doin some under the hood work and i dont know where to start. i was hink cool air intake would be pretty easy to start with but i deff need advice, cuz i have no idea what the hell im doin. and money isnt exactly sumthin that i have alot of

so any helpful hints would help, otherwise im just stuck with cosmetics

i was thinking that maybe u should find out what would increase the performance of your car the most and then go from there. Like start with something small and then do the major stuff last. :smile:
