Primera SRi

Hi guys i´m looking for a pretty simple thing, i´d like to know witch enginetype the european Primera SRi has...
i want to know this beacuse i wonder if a induction kit from a SRi will fit my -97 GT

Its has the sr20de with 130 hp.

There are some guys here in the forum that have this engine.

Y think it will fit ,but make a research before you do enything!

I'm pretty sure with some modifications it'll fit. I was able to fit a CAI from a 2.0L SR20 motor, to a 1.6L GA16DE motor. I'm guessing the tube size isn't optimal (3") but for something like $25, it worked great for him. And it didnt' really take too much time or effort to make it fit, just had to cut the TB-MAF tube about an inch and a half shorter. Once I did that everything else lined up. I think if you take some measurements first, and plan it all out, you should be ok.

I have a Primera P11 SRi (with GT intake cam, down pipe, manifold, mid section, powerflow back box and a k and n filter) I can guarantee u that the Primera GT induction kit wil fit your car.

My car will be getting Dyno tested (rolling roaded) on the 27th, I am hoping to make a few more horses that a standard GT.

I am also ordering my GT body kit tomoz.......getting it for only £415 for the skirts, front and back bumper. Should have it fitted within 2 weeks :bandit: :frog: You can't beat a bronze GT :alien:

Nismo I rekon I should make at least GT HP cause I have all the bits (apart from the ECU, but I have been told that makes no difference..I am getting a uni-chip anway) plus a sports back box and k and n panel filter. I am hoping for about 150-155 hp.

No but when my car is on the dyno I may ask him to up the timing if he thinks it needs it.

Thats 150-155 hp and the flywheel incase anyone was wondering:D imagine if i did get 150 at the wheels ;) lol:smoker2:

I think you shoud advance your timing like 17-8-9 that may give you 155-160 hps.

Is it safe to up the timing? what is it as standard? I wonder how much hp i would make if i advanced the timing to 19 and ran it on Super Unleaded petrol (98 ron)?

The dyno test has been put back to the 3rd of Feb now:mad: buts its definatly on!

Yes its safe ,do not worry! but you must have to run with 98 ron fuel,if you know the procedure of how to do it ,take a try .-
Your timing standar is about 13-15 degrees.
this will give you about 4-6 hp
and its FREE!!

jprimera what mods do you have on your car and also how much hp is it making?

I have a custom 2.25 mandrel bent cat back with mitsu eclipce muffler
18.5 timing
custom cai .

ist making about 160 hp.
15.48 1/4 mile g-tech 2 people inside.90 miles.

What hp did your car start of with? is it the Sri 130 hp or the Gt 150?hp?

its the roller rocker motor from japan 145 hp ,but I have seen some pics and it looks like the GT .(uk)

All SR20de engine look the same....my engine as standard makes 130 hp the only difference between mine and the GT are as follows:


downpipe
manifold
intake cam
ECU
exhaust mid section / backbox

not all sr20 des loos the same .

And that is Henry Perez's engine from his G20, does anyone know where Henry is?

this 2 engines do not look the same .

yeah cause Henry has detailed the engine bay has a new header and a new intake.................if someone can provide a pic of a standard g20 engine that would be much apreciated

take a look at the intake manifold ,egr valve aiv valve ,and also the RR motor have deeper spark plugs wires.
