Here here!!
I own an Aveo, and love it. Need someplace to share ideas with other Aveonics.

Yeah it is a good little car. Except the stupid clock keeps tweaking out so they have to replace it, they ordered it 4 weeks ago and haven't heard anything since. And the power outlet next to the e-break keeps blowing fuses. THat is getting metioned when it goes in for the new clock.
Do you know what those extra spots in the headlight assembly are for?

Don't know. I've had mine for a week. No problems so far.
What are you plugging into the outlet?

Must be a quirk. Mine has worked fine. I've used it as for the cell phone, and also a vacuum cleaner.
I did bust the cheesy gas cap. It snapped off and left just the "plug" portion in the gas spout. A gas gap from NAPA now is on it.

Even if it is a quirk, a cell phone charger shouldn't cause the fuse to blow. Just as long as they fix it.
Did you get the 4 door or the 5 door?
We got the 5 door, more room for the dog.

We got the 5 door. I really like it so far. It seems to draw a lot of attention wherever I park it. People are always asking me what it is.
It's a lot peppier than I thought it would be, especially at 3K rpm and above.....
Compare to other cars in it's price range, it was a no brainer for me. I didn't want an Echo or an Accent. How BORING!!!!!!!!!!! The Aveo has style, and the interior room is pretty amazing. Until you sat in, or have driven one, you really have NO idea.......
The dealers around here can't keep the 5 doors on their lots. As soon as they get them, they are sold. The 4 door models are seen just about everywhere though.

Well in the close to two months we have had this car we commute 60 miles a day to work and I think I have seen 3 other Aveos on the road total.
The other day I was letting two guys use the cross walk in front of me and one guy said "what in the hell is that?" As I was driving past him, I just started laughing. THey do draw attention thats for sure.
We have almost 4000 miles on it already.
They do have a little pep, just don't try to pass on the freeway to quickly or go up a 12% grade at 50mph.

We liked it so much, we bought one for my wife. Now we have two Aveo's. No problems with either one.

Don't get me wrong we love the car alot. It just gets annoying taking it to the shop on an average on once a month.

Must be a Lemon. The two we have are going strong, with no problems.
I used mine to carry a bunch of stuff, and with the seats folded up, I got a LOT back there.
We like 'em.

I had a 2000 Pontiac Formula Firehawk. Loved that car but as the prices went up on gas i started to hate it and the transmission would be going out pretty soon. The synchro was giving trouble. But i lucky got a new car before anything happened. I thought was going to hate this car i bought(Chevy Aveo LS:5 door hatchback). I drove it one day and fell in love with this car. havent had any problems. I just think that this website needs an aveo forum. Would like to talk to others about eh car. Good luck to all who have one and feel sorry for those who dont. And Go with god all of you Aveo bashers.

Welcome aboard.
Well, they actually fixed the damn thing. Took them long enough, but once I mentioned the Lemon Law they actually fixed it. Got a free rental out of the deal and that's about it. Took 5 times in the shop but its running like a champ. Can't wait for companies to start making more decent after market parts. Don't need the lime green body kit or 18" wheels.

I'm waiting for someone to make VentVisors for them. Like just about every other car on the road, rain comes in if you have the window rolled down.
