For lack of more specific info, the window switch would be the first place to check. Can you duplicate the problem at any time?Is it all of the windows or just one?Sorry about the stereo.

Gonna take a wild guess that the electric motor in the window has a spot on the armature or rotor that is burned out. When the motor stops there your s.o.l.
Had a similar thing with another car using pop up headlights and my current '93 Camry.
Good Luck

I have a power window problem in my '94 camry, and the design layout should be similar. If your window is still stuck half down, you could take a two wire cable from your car battery, be very careful not to short the wires. Then at the other end, put it to the wire harness on the power window motor (assuming you know how to take off the door panel). You should be able to get the wires to touch part of the metal connector in the harness, its best to use solid wire instead of stranded, or solder the ends of stranded if thats all you have. Putting the Positive battery terminal to the Negative on the window motor, and the negative batter terminal to the positive on the window motor should make it go up. If this does not work, then your motor may be shot. You would then have to dissassemble the motor and regulator so you can manually put up the window and get a replacement motor. In my case one of the wires got broken, this may be another thing to check for if the motor works fine. Depending on your skill level you may want to take it to a trusted auto repair shop and have them do it, but be careful. My problem is about $5 dollars in wire, and probably $100 at most in labor, but one repair shop wanted to charge me over $400 telling me my motor was shot. I laughed in his face knowing that that was not the problem. Its easy to diagnose it, so I would suggest you try to at least diagnose it yourself, so you know what you need done when you bring it to a shop. Or do it completely yourself if your confident enough. If you need anymore details just reply back, I'll be happy to help.
