After market products cannot totally void the warrinty. just the upgrades and anything that is damaged by these pieces are not covered but by law they cannot void it because of aftermarket parts.:flipa: :flipa: :licker: :bloated: :smoka:

Ok I removed aftermarket, readit through, and I think i got it, so what he is really trying to say is, adding parts will not void warrentie by law because....

Because?

good question. It fries my brain trying to comprehend his 3 part sentence. Let me see if i got this, step aside. Hes trying to say, technically aftermarket parts do not void a warranty, unless they damage something under the hood. Now the part where he says by law aftermarket parts can not void..... OH I GOT IT! hes saying that aftermarket parts can not REALLY void the warranty......DUH!

oh and upgrades, would be considered aftermarket no?

thats what threw me off.

TRANSLATION,

here's what Princeton (better known as dru232) should have said: most states' laws say that if you have aftermarket performance parts that cause something on the car to break (for example strap a turbo on a civic and the engine explodes), then whatever damage the aftermarket parts caused is not covered under warranty. however, if you put that turbo in your civic, and your door falls off, then the warranty will cover that.
