I believe internal engine mods, as well as engine swaps will put you in street modified. (tough class, if you ask me. because you are up against guys with ITR motor swaps, 400hp dsms, etc...)

ok so i have looked into it and my understanding is that the swap would be legal and not really change classes because all the parts would still be from crx's so i could still race in stock or street prepared and not have to move up to the impossible street mod but either way it doesnt really matter as i wouldnt really care about winning just having some fun please correct me if im wrong thank you

are you sure you can just bolt a dx or si head to an hf block? i thought they had flat top pistons? can anybody elaborate on this?

hf is a 12 valve and a dx or si is a 16valve, im almost positive they arent flat topped pistons indented for valve clearance

it depends on what year hf it is.91-91 hf are 16v and the pistons are flat top.
