whats up, i need somebody to help me out, here's the prob, every now and then my rpm's jump about 1g and come back and settle, ok, it's been like this for a week, well the other day, for some reason, my car would act as if it's in neutral and just rev up, i have an automatic so it seems and feels really weird, ne wayz, the other day it just like, stopped engaging in any gear, so i stopped flipped the hazards and shut the car off, 15 min later i started up the car and it drove fine, whats wrong with this dang thing, i know i need to get it checked but i need some reasuring advice so i don't go shoot myself, jk, but seriously, if ne one knows about tranny's and their problems tell me, and tell me if it'll be cheap to fix, thanx:(

check your vacuum lines coming off the plenum. make sure they're all hooked up. also ensure your idle air control valve is functioning and coolant lines tot he throttlebody arent clogged, and the throttlebody is clean and free of foreign objects.

like drift said check your vacuum lines, then the idle air control valve is good. I duuno what head you have on it but on the f22a1 there is a way to adjust that from the rpm adjusting screw on the tb.

I believe that "H" motors are found mainly in preludes and that all accords that still have the original motor in them are "F" motors. I could be mistaken though.

mine has been doing the same thing. its seems like it does it mostly when im at higher speeds. i was on the interstate about a week ago and my car just wouldnt go anymore so i put it in neutral and reved it up and put it back in drive and then it worked again. its been in the shop twice and the dude said that its never done it when he has drivin it. at least i know what it is know. now its time to swap it to a 5 speed ;)
