buying a rx-7

hey, right now i have a 1991 toyota celica st. it has a 1.6l engine that just isnt enough. i was looking into buying a 1988 rx-7 and was wondering if anyone could give me some info on the car, some specs. and also maybe things too look for when im checking out one to buy. andy info would be helpful. thanks

The 88 non turbo has 146hp and 138 ft/lbs torque. It weighs 2755 lbs and has a 0-60 time of about 8.5 seconds. the quarter mile time is about 16.5 secs. The turbo II has 182 hp and 183 ft/lbs torque. It weighs in at about 2900 lbs. The 0-60 time is in the mid 6s and the quarter mile time is about 15 seconds. The great things about rx7s is that they are very easily upgradeable and you will feel the upgrades when you drive a lot more than in other cars. Hope you get to experience the fun of an rx7!
