fujimi AE86 levin

Has anyone here ever built a fujimi AE86 levin kit?

There were a few done on this forum. Hop to the "Completed & progress" forum, and do a search for "Levin."

You can improve them a lot, but to be honest the detail of the underside and some of the detail parts (rear lamps for instance) is extremely poor.

In all honesty, plough your efforts into the interior, it's really nicely moulded for an 80's Fujimi kit. Detail painting will work wonders! The shocks aren't TOO bad if you detail paint them.

The body is good but the lights are pretty scruffy in all honesty (the tail lights) - not too sure how you could improve them.

I'd personally forget the underside, just satin black the lot and do the gearbox in flat aluminium - concentrate on giving it cool wheels and a nice paint job. :)
