my friend's 98 civic ix just got totaled after an accident. the body shop is holding it for us until we come in and take everything we want. so far he only wants the cold air intake, the stereo, the speakers. i suggested his exhaust too (i mean he did pay 500 for it). my question is, how hard is it to take off the exhaust by ourselves? If i have a Haynes manual will that help? we're planning on doing all this friday, so any help as soon as possible is appreciated.
Thanx

Removing the exhaust should be easy for you guys. Hopefully it wasn't damaged in the accident though.

disassembling is much easier than assembling. You shouldn't need a manual to take things apart.
I would also take the brake lights and/or headlight housings (depending on if it was head on collision or rear).
center consoles, speedometer, steering wheel, window motors
these can all be sold on ebay.
