Odd rattle

Sometimes when I start from a standstill I hear a light rattle noise. This happens when I'm letting off the clutch and applying the gas. It sounds metalic and coming from the engine bay area. I don't feel anything missing or slipping. I just want to make sure this isn't anything bad. Has anyone experienced this? Or know what might be causing it? Is it serious? Thanks.

That's been removed. But it does sound something like that, at least from that area.
Any other ideas out there?

Nosie from inside the car can be hard to know where excatly they are. I had a rattle metal to metal when i accelrated. I didn't know what it was. But i just put on a bolt on exhaust and they is a heat sheild for the cat. I tighting that up and the nosie went away. SO you could check that.
Because i head the nosie from the back of the car and the cat is underneath me so you never know good luck

the heat shield on your cat might have actually shaken loose off the bolts (happened to me), just look under the body.
PS: ignore if you have removed your cat :P

My 92 had the catalytic converter was rattling from inside. It was a metalic/vibrating sound, and would occure when I let off the throttle. My 92 is an automatic. I checked everthing before I found it. Good Luck.
