Soon to release my first set of rubber tyres - Advan A048R. Pic shows 18" version on my TCII. Made them to be included with the rims I mentioned a short while back but will also be available seperately so they can be added to any other 18". Available mid to late April

Plan to work on a few others but they all have to be racing tyres with simple tread patterns and thick grooves, anything else is too tricky without specialist machining equipment. Other possible tyres are;
Advan A038

Bridgestone Potenza RE55S

Dunlop Formula D01J

Dunlop Direzza 02g

Toyo Trampio R888

On another note, those waiting for the rims i've made will have to bare with me a little longer. I'm waiting to try out a more fluid resin so that I can achieve more consistant results when casting them.

Sweet lord! You make the tires yourself?? You're the guy that has a business right? Is there a link to your products? That pattern is spot on..you've got to do the classic Yoko Advan AO32R!! I'll buy 10 sets no joke

Gotta have the Trampio and Potenza. Beautiful Advan/Yok tire.
SAS wheels......can't wait for those either. Were you able to make an offset style TCII?

Wow!! This is going to be tight! I gotta get me some of those. Hope other tires go well. Good Luck!!! :iceslolan
I got a suggestion... i think this is a little bit to hard, but just want to know if you can make these. Falken Azenis. Very popular tire in roadracing.

That's me! Link in sig. A032's are a little more tricky to make coz the grooves have a slight taper to them.

Not started on a deeper offset version yet, need to make sure I can produce the others to satisfactory standard first.

Yes, but not that particular Azenis due to same reason as above (although I would really like to do it). There is another Azenis - RS-V04 which I'm considering but couldn't find a pic of it before to post in thread, It will be very simple to do.

Chris, No worries man! I understand how the azenis and a032R would be challenging. I think it's amazing enough that you duplicated the A048R. That's insane. Will the tires have lettering on the sidewalls? What size diameter tires will you be making?
Damn I don't now where I would be without this forum!
You do incredible work(checked your site), so do is there a waiting list for the A048s??

You do incredible work(checked your site), so do is there a waiting list for the A048s??
I had an idea to add the lettering by printing a decal on an Alps printer, but printing many layers of the same to acheive a relief. Silicone rubber used in the mold making picks up the finest of detail so I thought it would show up no probs. Couldn't be done though as the decals got worse as the layers built up.

How the hell did you make the tread pattern? I have been wanting to make my own tires for the longest time but I have no clue how to make the tread.
