Well, don't expect to find a GSR tranny for less, that's about going rate, and an ITR tranny used is going to run you about $1200.
Don't get me wrong, you can fin them for less, but you have to look real hard.

yeah i fully realize this, thats why im looking for a buy from a local head and not some guy just in it to make a fortune off me, but my range of price varies depending on miles and so forth

Out to make a fortune? Ha, they cost over two grand from Honda, so just over half price is a good deal, especially for a good tranny.

this is also true, but there are alot of people that sell gsr trannys for 800 give or take and the mileage is higher and or the sychros are shot... this is why im not going thru a shady dist. , no offense bro, but if your not gonna help dont throw in your 2 cents cause i know what im talking about, i need no input on that

I throw my two cents where ever I want. And explaining to you that the going rates of something you are looking for is exactly where it belongs. Don't like the prices, don't play the game, if you can get a better deal than have a day.
If this is instead a lame excuse to cover up a WTB classified ad, then try the classifieds, or parts trader, but the fact is if you want a GSR tranny, from a reputible place, and one that doesn't grind, it's going to cost ya.

like i said my price range varies...if its from a reputable shop and or a somewhat local fellow head then i am more than willing to pay..but you never said it was a gsr you were sitting on either, i assumed it was an LS .. i have 16,000 in this car after i bought it..believe me man i have no problom spending the money for quality !! or visa and mastercard dont anywaz lol..

I'm not selling a tranny, that's the other guy that replied. I was just informing you as to the average prices they go for, so you'd know what to expect.
