A stock 1996 Crown Vic has a 4.6L V8 190hp. But i'm sure it has sustantially more torque. Then, if it was a police cruiser, there may be a few extras under the hood.

Its unlikely, the Vics got a V8, its RWD, got more torque the only advantage ur max has is the weighs less. But its a diff. story if u got a couple of performence mods.
