Oxygen Sensor Light

I purchased a 1988 Nissan Maxima from the original owner that was in great shape and had only 88,000 miles. The exhaust system, A/C compressor, brakes/rotors, starter, alternator and tires had been replaced in the past year. At 90,000 the exhaust sensor light came on which according to the manual is tripped automatically at 90,000. The oxygen sensor is new and is located in the muffler. Apparently the warning light was not reset when the new exhaust system was installed at 83,000. How can I reset the sensor light on my dash board?

onth drivers side kick panel the reset botton is lokated. remove evrything till u get to a litel copper like box with tap or botten like thing on it. is it has tape remove it, and ther should be a littel hole, get a pin or some thing and push it. if it has a rubber like butten just push it, and your proplem should be solved.

On what page in the manual does it say that the sensor is automatically tripped at 90,000?

I don't think i've ever read that a sensor light is automatically tripped @ a certain mileage.
