Drag suspension setup

Ok, there have been lots of advice about the best drag suspension setup like hard front and soft rear, and some say the opposite, according to my calculations, i would think that it would be better to have a stiff suspension in the rear so it doesnt drop so quick causing the front to raise up leading to tire hop. Am i right or am i wrong? Maybe it's better to have stiff suspension front and rear? Let me know what ya think......

You want a stiff rear-end of course. But you want a stiffer front to create better traction with the pavement. Also a very stiff front will majorly reduce wheel hop which is bad to a launch, and beats up on your axels as well. It's also easier to control a FWD car with a stiffer front than rear, because with a stiffer rear, it can come around on you when you least expect.
