painting figures

well ive been doing my ae86 initial d trueno w/ takumi and natsuki for a while now and just wondering how do u paint the figures
also (sorry this might be off topic) can u buy mazdaspeed key holders?(dont know what they are called) like how holden got those things where people tie keys on to them and wear them around their necks

Figure painting is pretty different once you go for detail. Shading becomes key.
But to start, prime them white then brush paint the main colors, starting with the deepest layers then going outwards (skin to most outside layer of clothing). Acrylics are best, but not Tamiya... they don't do well on brushes. Games Workshop (they make Warhammer) paints are ideal but it's silly to buy a whole line of paint just for this. If the figures are big enough you can try airbrushing the main colors.
