What will it run in the 1/4?

A 1996 z28 auto with a shift kit,3000 stall converter,K+n intake and a magnaflow cat back exhaust?

I have been looking to by a z28 or a trans am and ran across this one and I'm just curious on what it might run in the 1/4 mile.

I would say mid 13's even could go low 13's but no way high 13's as stock F-body LT1's have gone high 13's

well depends on ur elevation and stuff like that to. Where i am from u would probably run like a low 14 high 13.

Miami is sea level , so elevation wouldn't be at a disadvantage

it could run high 13's because i got a stock 99 ss and my best 1/4 mile time is 13.5 and thats an ls1 lt1's arnt as fast and its a z.

My car with just the catback exhaust first time to englishtown ran a 13.9 and with the 3000 torque convertor alone he should be able to drop 2 - 3 Tenths and yes the LS1 is faster stock to stock but when you start modding like he is its not long before your even or faster and those are some good off the bat mods ,although I wouldn't go so high on the stall speed if he's planning on doing alot of street duty

Also I see your from Iowa, had you done the your run in Miami at Sea level you would have most likely seen better results
