Hey,
Can any one tell me where I can get some bolts for the coolant lines on a 16g to bolt up to a 1g eclipse. I bought a 16g turbo and it came with out bolts. I've been looking at local hardware stores to find 14mm fine threaded bolts. Well the biggest they have is 12mm. What my plan was is to find bolts that fit and drill a hole down the center on the lathe. Then drill one into the side on the drill press. That was the way I planed on doing it. But if anyone can give me ideas on where to buy some of those, or if I can buy them form someone who has extra. Can you Please let me know...
Thanks,
Scott

take them off a 1g turbo at the junkyard, or order them from mitsubishi

Do you mean the bolts that hold the turbo to the manifold? IF so, use ONLY mitsu bolts for that. And be sure to also order the 2g style cup washers to keep them in place. Lock washers will NOT work. If you dont believe me, come look at my car. I have 1 bolt holding the turbo on, and thats the one with the 2g cup washers ;) The other vibrate out before the thermostat opens...

No. I am talking about the bolts that hold the water lines. The ones that are on the 1g turbo are too small. Or are you talking about off of a 14b. The bolts won't fit if it is off of a 13g. They are too small. But I could check with a 14b!
Need HELP... Thanks for the replies..

Yes, the 13g uses smaller banjo bolts for some lines. Its a TDO4 center, not a TDO5 like 14b and up. All of the bolts from a 14b are interchangeable with 16g.

Sweet. That is exactly what I needed to Know. Know I could just look for the banjo bolts off of a 14b.
Thanks!!!

Well, my bolts just came in from the hardware store and I fabricated my own banjo bolts, cause NOBODY had any around here. So I just got my turbo hooked up and my engine is going in soon. Thanks to all who replied...
