ok, i am trying to install a set of springs in the rear end of my integra. but i am having a major problem taking off the screw on rear control arms. i took it to my friend's shop but he could take it off neither. we tried to lubricate it, used a breaker bar because the gun wasnt strong enough but still the nuts would not move. when we used forces, it moves a little bit, but then as we let it looses, it would go back to its old position. i dont know what to do, i was thinking of heating it up and unscrew it but then then bushing in the control arm would melt.
any one have any suggestion of what i should do??
is there anyway to take this screw out without damaging the bushing in the control arms?
or should i just heat it up and go buy a new control arm?

IMPACT GUN!!!! Try heating it without burning the bushing prior to the impact.

There are Honda control arms & aftermarket. You can always just replace the bushings but it's a PAIN in the ass w/out a press.
I think my rear LCA's from Honda were $60 each . . . .check www.hondaautomotiveparts.com for the cheapest HONDA oem parts. If you must cut the bolts get them from Honda, very high grade bolt.

I had the same problem bolts were rotted in the bushings and they all broke and then the bushings had to be hit out and it was better off to go buy new control arms. cost me about $250 CAN for 2 and $60 CAN (straight from Honda) for the bolts but well worth it in the end. Just be sure to put some anti-seize on the bolts when you put them back in so you can remove them easily if you need to.
