Factory LSD Cable Transmissions

Do they Exist?
Only in YS1?
Im doing a b16a cable lsd swap in my car, but it is hard to get my hands on a lsd cable tranny. I was seeking a YS1 lsd tranny!
I was told that most cable lsd trannys are hand welded and are only good for 1/4 mile.
Can someone please give me more info on this subject b4 i go out and by my tranny?

ok I recomend buying a y1 or s1 tranny and buying an aftermarket lsd. if u find a cable tranny with lsd its a good find, but there arent many( but yes they do exist). dont weld the tranny that is very dangerous, because in a curve both wheels will spin and the car will go out of control. the factory or aftermarket lsd disengages in turns and traction is distributed depending on the curve. sorry for the bad spelling im from puerto rico.

I also heard/read that there are Type R cable trannys with lsd.

I been doin a lot of research, I'm just trying to do more before I go out and purchase the tranny. Anybody have answers or help it would be highly appreciated.

Bullshit, pure bullshit. It the same gear ratios as the CTR/B16A, and 95-97 JDM ITR's and 97-01 USDM ITRs, but no LSD

Had an optional LSD, and has shorter gears than the LS, but the same final drive, which makes it very good for acceceration with a tolerable highway engine speed.

Depends on whether it came from a B18A1 LS, or hte B17A1 GSR or the RSi/XSi, JDM one had optional LSD

No, there weren't, but you can find some cable trannies that have hte same gearing, and a factory LSD, but none of them ever came on a type R.

I really want lsd in my cable tranny.
Just gonna go tranny shoppin and check the opening where the axels go to see if i can see straight thru. If I do its LSD

yeah... the S1 is a awesome tranny... I know I have one just wish it came with LSD.
