1990 4x4 Ranger XLT ext. cab bed swap

I have damage to the bed on my 90 ranger extended cab. The bed on it is about 6 feet long. The damage prevents me from having a tailgate. I think the easiest way to fix this problem is get a whole new bed. Which years will fit onto mine without any modifications?

1986 was the first year for the Ranger extended cab, so I would guess to say anywhere between 1986 to 1992 would be the years to find a short box for your Ranger. Good luck

the 1989 to 1992 is the exact same body style, and will bolt right in, but i'm not sure about the earlier ones - they may fit in, but i don't think so...
