Broken Blower Motor

The other day my air conditioning started to make a rattling noise when I turned left and right. I thought something was just rattling around. Then the next mourning my passenger floor was soaken wet. I had a mechanic at school tell me my a/c blower motor was probably bad. He pulled the dash on the pasenger side off and there was the blower motor, leaking water w/ a lil bit of rust in it, whenever the a/c was turned on. I have a 2000 Prix, anyone else have this problem and know what to do about it? I was gonna take the motor out today and see what the condition was like. Will i have water leaking ALL OVER THE place? I dont want that. I hope its just a bad motor and that is all i will have to replace and also that it will cure the sounds coming from the a/c vents. Im trying to sell my car so this ofcouse is not a good thing but maybe a sign that i need to get rid of the car.

Did you checked the drain cock? Sometimes debri gets stock on it, thus, keeping the water in the AC body. That will cause strange noises and would kill your blower motor.

What is the drain cock? I took the motor out today and it was still working fine. I could see that there was water in the AC body so it must be leaking into there and then from there into the motor because there is a small tube that runs from there into the motor, i dunno why you would want water to run into the wiring but thats what it looks like it does
