Mufflers

This is probably a repost, but I don't especially care.
I am looking for which muffler is the best, ie - highest power gain and a good deep sound. I don't care how loud it is within reason, since I'm running without any now and love it. I don't want to spend the money on a whole exhaust system yet, and need to pass emissions soon.
I just thought that I'd ask you guys since you're very knowledgable.
Thanks for the assistance.

dynomax straight-throughs. no restriction, a little bit of sound control. and they sound badass. dont' be like every other stang guy and his grandma and get chambered Flowmasters.
if you wanna be emissions-legal you gotta go with a cat-back system. that'll go a long way. aside from that, as long as your EGR and vapor systems are functioning properly, you're in good shape.

Agreed, already having no mufflers, Flows would be a downgrade and a major let down to you. Dynomax, Magnaflow, and Borla are good and some people like Spintechs. I don't know much about em. Although if I liked the sound alot now, I probly wouldn't change. Performance gains are mostly minimal, but then again, it is a mighty Cobra. That's my 3 cents.
